Operation Christmas Child

Samaritan’s Purse is an organization formed over 40 years ago to help the world’s poor, sick and suffering.  For almost 30 years,
Franklin Graham, the son of Billy Graham, has led the organization.  Twenty years ago they started to distribute gifts to the needy
children of the world at Christmas.  This year, their goal is to reach 8 million children with a new hope at Christmas.  You can help.
“Operation Christmas Child” collects and sends shoeboxes filled with items to needy children in countries all over the world.

Our church has been collecting items and filling shoeboxes for a few years now. This year we purchased boxes for you to use.  During the months of October and November
we will be collecting the filled shoeboxes.  The final collection date is the third week of November so we have time to deliver the boxes we collect to a distribution center.

The organization requests a donation of $9.00 for each box to cover shipping and processing.
The boxes are categorized by boy or girl and by age, 2-4, 5-9 and 10-14,
                                                          Thank you for your help.
